Micah Fleitman, MA
Micah has a MA in Counseling from the College of William & Mary (2017) and is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as Brainspotting, which are leading approaches for healing from trauma and other relational issues. He also specializes in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), a modern CBT approach for individuals seeking behavioral change. Micah uses Motivational Interviewing and ACT approaches for individuals recovering from substance abuse and other addictions. He provides family systems therapy for youth and family to help them rework boundaries and communicate more effectively to heal, restore trust and solve their own problems. He offers help to adults and youth facing PTSD, addictions, and substance abuse through counseling with a focus on improving communication, trust, and sense of self confidence and self-worth.
