What happens if I show up a few minutes late to my scheduled appointment? We will try to accommodate your entire scheduled session as best we can. All appointments begin and end on time.
What if I need to cancel my appointment? Your scheduled appointment is reserved exclusively for you. We have a strict one business day cancellation policy. We charge the full amount booked if appointments are cancelled or rescheduled with less notice. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, if you have a fever or signs of illness, we encourage you to cancel and reschedule your session. No fees will be charged and we'll provide as much flexibility as we can with rescheduling your service when you are feeling better. What types of payments do you accept? Checks and all major credit cards. Payment is due at time of service. Services are non-refundable. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage you to save your card on file in the client portal so we can process your payment in a contact-free manner.
Do you accept health insurance? For clients who wish to use their insurance benefits, we can can provide a detailed invoice for you to submit to your health insurance for reimbursement for out of network benefits.
Are the therapists at Brennan Institute certified? All therapists meet the requirements of the Commonwealth of Virginia and are insured.
Can I reach Brennan Institute by public transportation? We are located about one mile from the Reston Station Metro Station. Please see the WMATA for schedules and routes for trains/buses. Fairfax Connector buses also have routes in the vicinity.
