Prenatal and Postnatal Services
Childbearing years are an important time in a woman's life. The Brennan Institute offers services to assist clients in preparing for and recovering from childbirth to support the journey to motherhood.
We offer pre and post natal massage, which promotes tranquil relaxation, reduces stress, and relieves muscle cramps and spasms and relieves myofascial pain--especially in the lower back, neck, hips, and legs. Post-natal massage is a great support for a new mother’s physical and emotional strains.
We also offer pre and postnatal yoga. Prenatal yoga supports relaxation and stress reduction, but also brings awareness to the wisdom of your body and makes space for your baby to move and grow by learning breathing techniques and yoga postures. Postnatal yoga provides a space to rebuild strength and flexibility that may have been lost during pregnancy, while also providing space for deep relaxation to help new moms cope with sleeplessness and other challenges they may be facing.
